The Fox84 Initiative For Boys was formed by four Marion High School graduates who saw a need to give back to the community that raised them by offering mentoring programs to at-risk youths. It is our goal to give young men in Marion, South Carolina, an opportunity for a brighter future.

The Fox84 Initiative For Boys is a nonprofit that understands the value of a good role model and positive affirmation in a young boy’s life. That’s why we’ve dedicated our time and energy in improving the environment in which the youth of Marion South Carolina grow up. By offering career centered mentorship programs and a bridge to independence, Fox84 remains committed to achieving its vision of helping young men walk their own paths.

Christopher W. Shelvin – Founder & President of the Fox84 Initiative for Boys, is a decorated United States Army veteran, a gifted public speaker, real estate investor, small business owner and philanthropist. After retiring from the Army he served for 8 years as a Chief Quality Assurance Analyst for the DHS after which he created Shelvin Developments and Investments Inc. Christopher attended Washington State University and holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in Political Science and Business Administration

Keith Fore – A co-founder of The Fox84 Initiative for Boys, is a loving brother, husband and father, a retired Army Veteran and a aspiring actor/comedian. He currently serves as the Training Analyst and Assistance Instructor on the Joint Staff, supporting the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and other Directorates at the Pentagon in Washington DC. Keith graduated from Strayer University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management.

John C. Grice – A co-founder of The Fox84 Initiative for Boys, is the senior manager of operations in Philadelphia, PA. A United States Amy veteran he taught science and social studies to middle school students while also serving the state of North Carolina public school system as a mental health counselor. Afterwards he operated as the director of education and employment for one of the top non-profit organizations in the United States.  John graduated from Saint Leo University, Saint Leo Florida and holds a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and Masters of Education from Mercer University.

Terry Davis – A co-founder of The Fox84 Initiative for Boys, Rev. Davis serves as associate minister, youth mentor and choir director at the Greater Zion Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK.  A United States Army veteran, Terry attended Charleston Southern University and has spent the last 15 years at the FedEx® corporation in a variety of operational roles. Some of his passions include songwriting, the guitar and spending time with his family.
